Yes he's a good player, but he is not the best. Kobe Bryant is the best and I hate Kobe Bryant. Give the west some respect the Spurs murders the Cavs last year in the finals and your telling me the east is the best come on give me proof then that load of crap you LeBron fans are saying. Yes the east is getting better, but the west in still the best and I don't think the Cavs will make it past the Pistons or Celtics this year.

Why does it matter? Different people have different opinions. Not everybody will agree on everything. That's a good thing. If we all agreed on everything we'd all be driving the very same car model and living in the very house floorplans.

Yeah a lot of people are on Lebron's nuts right now and they need to settle down a bit. Enough with these comparisons to Kobe, enough with the comparisons to Michael Jordan. Lebron is nowhere near either of them and still might not be after many years. But for the love of god, at least WAIT till Lebron has actually ACCOMPLISHED anything before we can start crowning him. And I'm not a Lebron hater or a Lebron lover, I think he's a fantastic player and a superb athlete and he will be for years to come.

I mean there just seems to be some bias lately.....winning the All-Star game MVP? Ray Allen scored something 12 of the last 14 points or something like that for the East, and he basically won it for them in the 4th, but Lebron gets the MVP.

That's really not even a big deal, but what's a bigger deal is how Lebron is ACTUALLY THE FRONTRUNNER in a lot of people's minds for the MVP when his team is on track to win around 45ish games, which is VERY mediocre. I know he is basically his entire team, but that's not all the MVP is about.

If the Cavs were in the West, Lebron wouldn't even have his team in the playoffs right now, and that should NOT garner MVP talk.
well youre obviously a LeBron hater... but as great as Lebron is, even he will admit to Kobe being better than him... but kobe has the experience with 3 rings.... as for your question.... check out his stats.... and the amount of respect his fellow players have for him and how even the best defenders (prince, bowen etc...) hate having to defend him... hes 6'8" with a point guard's speed and quickness... superb athletic ability... good shooter, better passer....

I'm going to go ahead and agree with you a ton. And, I can't stand James, hes not clutch worth a ****. He finally made some last second free throws the other night...wow hes still only 70% for FT's. What a clown.

Because he gets so much press and he hasn't clashed with his teammates or coach or anything. Also, he takes way too many shots and never gets called for offensive fouls when he lowers his shoulder and drives (which he does every time) so he gets to the line a lot and scores a lot of points. Finally, he gets a ton of ad work, and that makes people love him.

And he does things like steal the chalk thing (where he throws it in the air and claps) straight from KG and he gets all the credit and press.
